Event Announcement: An Evening with the Provost Jan 9, 2006

AN EVENING WITH THE PROVOST DR. SALLY MASON OF PURDUE UNIVERSITY
AND
PRESENTATION OF OUTSTANDING INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING AWARDS
MONDAY, JANUARY 9, 2006


The Purdue Club of Hong Kong, with the greatest pleasure, invites you to participate in an Evening with the Provost of Purdue University, Dr. Sally Mason, who will be visiting Hong Kong on January 9, 2006. Dr. Mason is the chief academic officer of the university, responsible for achieving Purdue's academic mission, and plays a key role in all of Purdue's accomplishments as one of the premier universities in the world with very highly ranked departments and programs.

Joining Dr. Mason's visit of Hong Kong will be:

  • Dr. Riall Nolan, Dean of International Programs
  • Dr. Michael Stitsworth, Director of Advancement, College of Engineering
  • Dr. Charles Rutledge, Vice Provost for Research
  • Dr. Jason Gore, Associate Dean for Research, College of Engineering

During the evening, Purdue will present Outstanding Industrial Engineer Awards to our distinguished alumni Wing Kee Chan (BSIE 1970) and Peter Wang (BSIE 1975).

Venue: Butterfield's Club, Second Floor, Dorset House, Taikoo Place, 979 King's Road, Quarry
Bay, Hong Kong.
Date: Monday, January 9, 2005.
Time: Reception - 6:30pm - 7:30pm.
Dinner: 7:30pm - 9:30pm.
Cost: $400 each for alumni, spouses, friends.
$200 each for secondary school students.
